Introducing Sowing Edition (Second Crop)

Our limited-edition seasonal releases showcase our household style across the year, with each season being celebrated through the selection of different casks.

Matured in 100% ex-Bourbon barrels, this limited edition release is inspired by the season of spring on the farm, when the seed is sown for the year's barley crop.

We've carefully selected casks that have been further maturing higher up in the warehouse than 2022, to give this whisky its lively, fresh flavour profile.

Initially fruity on the nose with aromas of red apple and pear, the palate brings sweet and nutty notes. Then come vanilla pods and almond oil, concluding with a crisp, refreshing pine forest note.

Lochlea 'Sowing Edition' (Second Crop) sits at 46% ABV and is non-chill filtered with no added colouring.
