Our Team

The real spirit of Lochlea is in the people who work here:

  • John Campbell

    Production Director

Oversees everything on site, including the distilling operations, cask management and ultimately the consistent quality of whiskies from Lochlea.

Aside from work, family is very important to John, and he’ll happily chat to you about any sport under the sun.

  • Darren McCormick

    Production Supervisor

Keeps our distilling operations ticking over and monitors all stages of the production process, ensuring quality and efficiency standards are adhered to.

Outside of the distillery, Darren enjoys spending time with friends, family and his three children, and carrying out thorough analysis of our competitors’ products.

  • George Elliott

    Production Operator

Looks after malt transfer, milling, mashing and yeast fermentation operations within the distillery.

On the weekends you’ll find George spinning discs or watching the football with friends.

  • Alison Fagan

    Finance Director

Happiest right in amongst the numbers and commercial contracts and making sure the details are correct, Alison has been instrumental in the delivery of the Lochlea project since its inception.

When she is not working, Alison enjoys socialising and spending time with her family.

  • David Ferguson

    Commercial Director

Responsible for bringing our brand to market and managing our Sales and Marketing function.

When not talking about Lochlea whisky, David is either spending time with his young family or watching his beloved but serially underperforming football team.

  • Kate McCormick

    Logistics Manager

Makes sure we have all the right materials for bottling, right through to handling our shipments throughout the UK and into export markets.

If not on the phone to suppliers and customers, she will either be line dancing, watching the football or spending time with friends, family and cat Millie.

  • Patrick Dupuy

    Business Development Executive

Responsible for making sure that our UK retailers are stocked with Lochlea whisky.

When not travelling the UK talking about Lochlea, Patrick is exploring on his motorbike or undertaking thorough quality checks of Lochlea whisky in his favourite Glasgow bars.

  • Sarah Snedden

    Marketing Coordinator

Handles the Marketing, PR and Social Media for Lochlea and is often spotted around the distillery with a camera in hand.

A keen weightlifter, Sarah likes to spend her Friday nights at the bar.

  • Emma Kirk

    On-Trade Brand Executive

Makes sure that bars, pubs and venues across the land are well stocked with Lochlea whisky.

When she’s not at a whisky show or hosting tastings, you’ll find Emma horse riding or on the ski slopes trying out her latest moves.

  • Fiona Caldwell

    Finance & Customer Services Assistant

The glue that keeps us together, Fiona assists the entire team with everything from invoices to inquiries.

When she’s not crunching numbers, Fiona enjoys spending time with her family on their farm just up the road from Lochlea!

  • Bryce Martin

    Production Team

Assists John, Darren and George with various duties around the distillery, including warehousing, malt intake and cask movement.

  • Jim Forrest

    Farm Team

Jim treats growing our barley as if it's his very own crop, putting in long days on the seeder and combine and nurturing the crop to delivering the best yield possible. We are indebted to him for his attention to detail.

  • Neil McGeoch

    Owner/Managing Director

A farmer at heart, Neil takes responsibility for growing our barley. Back in 2014 he had the daft idea of selling his cows and building a distillery, and so began the journey of Lochlea. Neil is involved with all things Lochlea, supporting all aspects of the business and brand.

When he is not working on the next adventure for Lochlea, he is typically injuring himself whilst playing sports, or spending time with Jen and their kids.

  • Jen McGeoch

    Creative Manager

Jen has enjoyed designing the former midden, piggery & cattle sheds into a welcoming space where our whisky can be sampled.

Jen continues to assist with the creative side of the business from NPD to events and supporting sales.

  • Indie/Indiana Bones

    Resident Pup

Duties include greeting guests arriving at the distillery, directing traffic in the car park, and our security guard (when awake!)
