Matured in first-fill Bourbon barrels, Oloroso Sherry casks and STR barriques, Lochlea 'Our Barley' sits at 46% ABV and is non-chill filtered with no added colouring.
Carefully honed by Production Director John Campbell, Our Barley sits alongside our seasonal limited releases and is available from all of our UK stockists and export markets.
The marriage of 3 cask types gives this whisky a greater depth of flavour; developing developing zesty marmalade, golden syrup and cinnamon notes to complement our signature Lochlea spirit.
Nose: Pear syrup, fruit bonbons, warm cut grass, marmalade
Palate: Golden syrup, pepper, rye bread, macadamia nuts, cream soda
Finish: Long finish with a lasting orange beeswax note
