Meet the Team: Emma

In our Meet the Team series, we’ll find out a bit more about the people involved in producing Lochlea single malt whisky.

Today we’re talking to Emma Kirk, our On-Trade Brand Executive.

What does your job involve?
I’m in charge of making sure pubs, bars, restaurants and hotels are always well stocked with Lochlea whisky. I also host tastings and attend various whisky shows across the UK and Europe.

What will your next tattoo be?
I’m getting my sleeve finished in a couple of weeks, adding in some more baby’s breath and barley to tie it all together.

Where is your happy place?

I’ve got 2 places! The first is up at the stables with the horses. The second is in the mountains, either skiing or hill walking.

If you could be any animal for one year, which animal would you be and why?

Definitely a dog! You’re always loved and you get fed and watered.

Do you have a nickname?

Disaster! Just kidding. My last name is Kirk, so people usually call me ‘Kirky’.

What invention would make your job easier?

I travel a lot for my job, so it would be great if I could clone myself 10 times!
