Meet the Team: Patrick

In our new Meet the Team series, we’ll find out a bit more about the people involved in producing Lochlea single malt whisky.

Today we’re talking to Patrick Dupuy, our Business Development Executive.

What does your job involve?

My job is to travel around the UK to meet customers, let them know all about Lochlea and hopefully encourage them to buy some bottles!

What was the first whisky you ever tried?

My mum used to work in the whisky industry and used to bring home lots of samples. I remember a cask strength Glen Moray that tasted of caramel - that was the dram that got me enthusiastic about whisky!

Where can we find you on a typical weekend?

Either out on my motorbike or at The Howlin’ Wolf in Glasgow enjoying their Blues Night on a Sunday evening.

3 celebrities: who’s invited to your dinner party?

Johnny Cash, Guy Martin and Tony Stark - but at Tony Stark’s house, so we can play with all of his gadgets.

What’s at the top of your bucket list?

Hang gliding!
