Introducing Ploughing Edition (Second Crop)

Our limited-edition seasonal releases showcase our household style across the year, with each season being celebrated through the selection of different casks.

Ploughing Edition (Second Crop) is inspired by the season of winter on the farm, when the fields are ploughed in preparation for the busy sowing season in spring.

Matured in 100% ex-Islay barrels, this whisky is fruity and sweet with a little kick of peat. It starts with Lochlea's signature cereal notes and fresh green apple, evolving into freshly cut summer hay and succulent fruit on the palate. The finish? A hint of sea salt and lingering peaty embers, reminiscent of a beach bonfire.

It sits at 46% ABV and, as with all Lochlea whiskies, is non-chill filtered and natural colour.
