The third in a series of annual limited-edition bottlings.

Batch 3 of our annual Cask Strength release offers yet another bold and distinctive take on Lochlea. Our Master Blender has carefully selected a combination of Oloroso Sherry Butts and Ex-Islay Peated Casks, creating a whisky that balances richness and depth with a surprising twist of smoke. The nose opens with juicy, ripe red fruits, and savoury BBQ smoke. On the palate, cherries, ripe berries, and dark molasses are lifted by warming ginger cake, toasted rye, and charred wood smoke. The finish is long and complex, with baking spice, salty smoke, and oaky tannins intertwining with delicate floral notes of red roses.

The second in an annual series of limited edition bottlings.

Older, bolder and completely undiluted.

Cask Strength Batch Two is 60% ABV and is non-chill filtered with no added colouring.

Matured in a combination of PX, Oloroso and STR casks, Cask Strength Batch 2 showcases a complexity greater than the sum of its parts.

Cask Strength Batch One

The first in an annual series of limited edition bottlings.

Each batch is bottled straight from the casks without dilution, like trying samples straight from the warehouse itself.

Cask Strength Batch One is 60.1% ABV and is non-chill filtered with no added colouring.

Carefully selected by the production team, Cask Strength Batch One is matured in first-fill Bourbon barrels and Oloroso Sherry casks that work particularly well at high strength, amplifying the fruit, nut and cereal flavours that form our house spirit style.
