Lochlea single malt whisky

It's been years in the making, and a few weeks later than we first anticipated, but we are delighted that our Lochlea Single Malt First Release is out. Even more exciting has been reading your reaction, your photos and your comments about it. 

We launched our First Release on January 25th, which just happened to be 245 years since our original influencer moved into Lochlea. We really have appreciated all of the positive feedback you've shared, and some incredible photographs.

 

For any who were disappointed to have missed out on a bottle first-time around, David Ferguson had good news about what's coming next. 

David said: “We already have plans in place to release our ongoing core single malt whisky this year, alongside quarterly small batch bottlings. So this is very much just the beginning for Lochlea.”

Bottled at 46% ABV, the Single Malt whisky was matured in first-fill Bourbon and Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks. It is bottled naturally with no added colouring, and is non-chill filtered. The next release will follow this Spring, so keep your eyes out for more news very soon.
